Magnesium Fluoride MgF2 Window High Thermal Expansion Coefficient For Optical System
Product description:
MgF2 IR Windows useful transmission range is 0.11 μm - 8.5 μm. Irradiation does not lead to color centers. Magnesium fluoride (MgF2) is a rugged, hard material which is resistant to thermal and mechanical shock. Considerable mechanical shock is needed to cause cleavage. So high purity and polish is extremely critical during processing.
Various optics for IR & VUV application, using our Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) crystal materials; Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) VUV Windows for ArF Excimer Laser; Good quality Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) crystal blank materials; Coupletech service for good quality Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) crystals.
The magnesium fluoride crystal has a wide light transmission range and good light transmittance in a wavelength range of 0.12 μm to 7.5 μm. The single crystal ratio is high, the material is harder than CAF2, and it is mainly used in the ultraviolet band. It is an ideal material for making optical components such as various windows, lenses, prisms, and cylindrical lenses. Can be used for wave plates, laser systems, coated crystals, vacuum windows, PBS light sources, microscopes, optical instruments, etc.
